		<title>WOTE 2006 - IAVoSS Workshop On  Trustworthy Elections</title>
		<description>WOTE 2006 ::  Workshop -  June 29-30, 2006 (PET Workshop 2006, Cambridge, UK) :: Submission - 2 June 2006 :: Notification :: 9 June 2006 - The workshop aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry as well policy makers, voting officials, whose work relates to electronic voting systems, to evaluate the state of the art, to share practical experiences, and to look for possible enhancements. The overall aim then is to stimulate discourse between the various stakeholders and enhance the understanding of voting technologies and practices.</description>

		<description>FEE 2006 ::  Workshop -  September 19, 2006 (ESORICS 2006, Hamburg, Germany) :: Submission - 1 August 2006 :: Notification :: 15 August 2006 - For some 25 years cryptographers have been proposing electronic voting schemes of ever increasing strength and versatility, dealing with ballot secrecy, election integrity etc., typically viewing the problem as a special case of secure multiparty computation. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, who are working on cryptographic protocols for electronic voting systems, to evaluate the state of the art, to share practical experiences, and to look for possible enhancements.</description>
